The Arthrogryposis Group (TAG) is the national organisation in the UK for the condition Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC). The aims of TAG are:-
TAG provides contact and information in a number of ways. The quarterly newsletter, TAGTalk, keeps everyone in touch and features news from members as well as regular articles from the Committee and Regional Contacts, dates of meetings, news on any research developments and lots of other helpful information too. The Annual National TAG Weekend gives members the opportunity to meet others in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. There are talks on a wide variety of topics for the adults and outings or a crèche for the children. Many of the presentations are published in reports so that all TAG members benefit from the knowledge gained. The reports are also requested by members of the medical profession and other interested parties. TAG distributes a regional contact list to members so that they can be in touch with people with similar experiences or symptoms. Our Regional Contacts keep in touch with the members in their area through personal contact, letters, 'phone calls, and social events. The regional get-togethers enable members to meet up with other members in their region and include anything from a Summer Barbecue, an 'At-home', to a Christmas Party.
