West Midlands Region     Contact:    Sharon Baker (National Contact Officer) - stepping down   Clare and Peter Mahony will be the new contacts.

As already mentioned in my article, under National Contact Officer, we recently had a Regional Contact Weekend. This event helped confirm to me the fact that, working in a national capacity as a contact makes it very difficult for me to also be contact for the West Midlands. I have really enjoyed being contact for the region, due greatly to its very lovely members, but I realise I am not able to properly fulfil the role. Thus I was so pleased when Clare Mahony indicated an interest in becoming West Midlands Regional Contact with her husband Peter. I know I could not be leaving regional members in better hands.   Thank you to everyone in the West Midlands for being in contact with me(!), which has been the pattern of events over the last couple of years since TAG's phone found its new home at Beak Cottage, and I look forward to seeing you at the next regional do.   I could take this opportunity of writing about Clare, Peter, Hatty and Frances (it would make such a change from going on about myself, Jago and Brysa!) but I leave Clare and Peter to do this themselves . . .   Sharon Baker
