Just a few words
as its deadline day and I need to get this article in to the editor!
Very little to report really as this is only our first 'term of office'.
We've organised
our first event - a summer get-together chez nous on Saturday, June
14th from 12 o'clock onwards. Just an informal get-together to
hopefully get to know a few more of our regional members, (and anyone
else who fancies a trip to Boston!). It's a bring a dish day, with a
kiddies entertainer as the main event of the day . . . unless anyone
else comes along with an act! If you didn't get an invite, please
treat this as it and accept our apologies on behalf of the Royal
Mail, either that or get your address updated with the office! In any
case, please let us know if you can come so we have some idea of how
many to expect.
Charlie and Emily
are both keeping us busy. Charlie has had a good first term at school
and seems to be very popular with the other children. After Easter
he'll be going four days a week and then full-time in September.
Sarah still takes him to the Hydrotherapy pool once a week and he is
beginning to swim (albeit with arm bands).
If anyone has any
ideas for a winter gathering, not necessarily a Christmas party as
such, please let us know. We thought about a trip on the Nene Valley
Railway as they do Santa and Thomas the Tank specials . . .
Before I go,
please look forward to the next TAG Talk edition as a friend of mine
is going to ride his bike from Lands End to John o' Groats (because
it's there!) in the Summer and has agreed to do it as a Sponsored
event for TAG! So watch this space.
Looking forward to
seeing many of you on June 14th.
