Hello all! We hope you are all well. Sorry that we missed the chance to meet up with some of you at Conference this year, we hope that those of you who went renewed old acquaintances and made some new ones too.

Our new house is much better than the old one and Charlie finds these stairs much easier, which is a relief to us as he’s no lightweight. We’ve still got a fair bit to do to get it how we want it though.

Charlie has now received his Titanium All Court Quickie sports wheelchair and as I write this is playing in the first round of the Junior Wheelchair Basketball League at Stoke Mandeville. His coach has had to obtain special permission to play Charlie as the minimum age is 10 years! Charlie really loves playing but his love of speed does worry us a little!

We recently paid a visit to our fellow regional contacts in Swansea and had a great time. Charlie and Matthew were soon inseparable and Emily enjoyed all the attention of her surrogate big sister, Hannah. Maybe it’s a good job neither Sarah or Lisa will be able to see what those two get up to at TAG Camp in a couple of years time as the pair of them seem to show no fear!

We have new members in our region and we will be introducing ourselves very shortly. In the meantime, we are trying to think of ideas for a winter get -together in January. We’re hoping to go for a similar set-up as last year with a sporty/activity for the youngsters and those of you fit or mad enough to join in, followed by a pub lunch. If anyone has any other suggestions, though, we’d love to hear from you.

With love

Sarah, Simon, Charlie and Emily Bonner
