The Peak District had the honour of our presence in the year 2000

TAG organises annual Camps at various outdoor activity centres across the country.

  The Children’s Camp has been running
  successfully for a number of years.

  The Adult Camp was a new initiative for the
  new Millennium.

Arrived at camp feeling a bit nervous - I'd never stayed away from home without having somebody there that I knew, but I needn't have worried, everybody there was friendly and helped me feel much happier.

Most of the activities were brilliant! Abseiling was wicked and I couldn't believe it when I beat everybody at archery. But I didn't enjoy the caving so much - too cold and damp down there.

It was great making new friends and being part of a team (of course, our team won!). I can't wait to go again next year.

Thanks to everyone who helped me to do things that I'd never tried before - you were all great!
