FUND RAISING AND DONATIONS

CourtyardWe would like to thank all those who have thought of the Group in recent months when it comes to raising funds. If your donation/fundraising event is not mentioned then I apologize for the omission and hope that you will forgive those of us who compile this section of the Newsletter. Click here to see a list of the donations received

It helps to write this page if you can let us have details of the event you have organized or participated in when sending in your cheques or postal orders.

Thank you to those who responded to the Gift Aid/voluntary donation plug in previous editions. There are still some who have indicated a willingness to give annually by standing order and have not returned the form. Please do let us have the form. Every little amount really does help. Even if you cannot give regularly you can still sign up for Gift Aid and then whenever you feel able to make a donation the admin department can reclaim the tax without troubling you further. It really is quite painless!

Congratulations!
Dance for TAG!

Swing that partner!

The annual Macclesfield Ceilidh/Barn Dance in support of the Group has this year raised a record amount of £1,005.00. The Dance was well-supported by Gail and Lawrence's friends and families but it was disappointing that no local TAG members, except the family, saw fit to give support. It was great, however, to see Dan Atkins all the way from Leeds who has taken over from his mum and dad in supporting the dance.

 Marking time

This has been closely followed by a very successful Cawl Lunch on St David's Day in Lawrenny, Pembrokeshire which raised £450 doubled by a similar amount under Barclays Bank's matched giving scheme. For details of a Cawl lunch please see the Spring Newsletter. Many thanks to Jacqui Lintern and friends for this event.
